A hardy shrub known for its showy plumes of white flowers and fern-like foliage that resembles mountain ash. It grows in a multi-stemmed, upright, and spreading habit, and is notable for spreading aggressively by root suckers, making it suitable for areas where it can be allowed to form colonies. The leaves emerge bronze-red, mature to green, and turn yellow or red in the fall.
