A herbaceous perennial with delicate, double white flowers and finely cut, fern-like foliage. It blooms from early to mid-summer, creating fluffy panicles of blooms on upright stems, and its flowers are excellent for cutting. The plant tolerates dry soil better than other Filipendula species, and thrives in full sun to partial shade.
