A vigorous, upright perennial monkshood with light pink to lavender-pink, hooded flowers that bloom in mid-summer to early fall. It features dark green, glossy, and deeply-cut leaves arranged alternately on strong stems that may not require staking. This plant is highly poisonous and all parts are toxic if ingested or if they contact the skin, so gloves are recommended when handling it.
