A hardy succulent known for its tight rosettes of pale green, fleshy leaves covered in a delicate, silvery-white "cobweb" of fine hairs. This low-growing plant forms a mat of small rosettes ("chicks") that sprout around a central rosette ("hen") and produces pinkish flowers in the summer. It is extremely low-maintenance, requiring full sun and well-drained soil, and is drought- and cold-tolerant.
