A vigorous, spreading annual renowned for its deep, velvety cabernet-colored blooms and slightly darker throats. Fast-growing and low-maintenance, it blooms from late spring until the first frosts, making it an excellent choice for hanging baskets, patio containers, and garden beds. Reaches 6 to 12  inches in height and spreads 30 to 40 inches wide.
